The Sprint-Cross premiere takes place free of charge and in all weather conditions.
One of Austria´s most beautiful street squares
The Wels town square, with its architectural unity, is one of the most beautiful town squares in Austria with its buildings showing attractive baroque facades from the 17th and 18th century. The buildings mostly date from the Gothic and Renaissance periods, which is particularly evident in the back courtyards.
We offer individual competitions in 6 classes.

Running in unique atmosphere
The Sprint-Cross track at the Wels town square is 192.27 meters long and has three changes of direction. It runs clockwise on asphalt and cobblestones.
People regardless of gender, religion or belief, sexual orientation or disability have the right to take part in the Sprint-Cross. Participation with a wheelchair is not possible due to safety reasons.
Participants who are not of legal age are obliged to download the declaration of approval fill it out and send it signed by a parent or legal guardian to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.! You will then receive your registration link.
Participants commit themselves to only wearing a sporty outfit (running clothes) in the race. Shoes, shorts/pants and tops are mandatory. Shoes with spikes are forbidden!
Pieces of jewellery (rings, necklaces, watches, other dangerous body jewellery, ...) are prohibited for the safety of all participants.
The Athletes area at Minoritenplatz is open to all accredited participants starting at 1 pm on the day of the event and provides them with drinks, fruits and snacks. Accompanying persons are not permitted.
The organizer cannot accept any liability for personal items.
Please familiarize yourself with the Sprint-Cross rules and the Terms of participiation. The rules ensure a uniform and equal exercise of the sport and cannot be voidable in court.
The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the regulations on short notice. These will be announced at an early stage.

Women / Men 1st place: € 500, -
Women / Men 2nd place: € 300, -
Women / Men 3rd place: € 100, -
Youth, juniors and team winners receive prizes in kind.
